I was stranded in a remote cabin in the Rocky Mountains during a raging blizzard. More then 50 miles from the nearest road. I had only a knife, some matches, a freezer full of steaks, a case of Johnny Walker, and the company of an attractive co-ed. Imagine my surprise when a knock at the door turned out to be Karen from Soundscapes! Unable to reach me by traditional means, she’d taken it upon herself to hand deliver some voice demos for an upcoming project. Frostbitten and weary, Karen volunteered to stay until I’d listened to the demos, but I explained that keeping her from her other clients would just be downright selfish of me. I practically had to push her out the door. But that’s Karen and her unparalleled sense of customer service for ya.
